Weekends
Great music is great music. That's how we see it here at AM 1220. We love the Superhits of the '60's and '70's. It is some of the best music ever made. But we also love the best of the best of the '50's…and the '80's…and yep…we even love good country music. That is why we have expanded the lineup of great music every weekend on AM 1220. We are still playing "Yesterday's Hits" but now we are playing even more of the greatest songs of all time. It all begins Saturday mornings at 9am with "Shake Rattle Showtime" and two hours of the super songs from the '50's. Then, keep listening for "Beatle Brunch" from 11am to noon and hear why the Beatles revolutionized pop music forever. Then from noon until 3pm, it's iconic broadcaster "Casey Kasem" with his '70's show. And who can forget the "Wolfman"! "Wolfman Jack" is back every Saturday from 3pm until 6pm.
Sundays, the Superhits continue with the greatest country music of all time from the "Grand Ole Opry" from 9am to 11am. Then a Cornwall institution, "Scots on Parade" from 11am to noon. The crooners like Sammy, Frank and Dean set the stage for performers to come and we feature the very best on "Crooner Nooner" from noon until 1pm. "Shake Rattle Showtime" returns from 1pm until 3pm and then listen for the Superhits of the '60's, '70's and '80's from 3pm until 6pm! It all adds up to an incredible lineup of the best music ever made every weekend on AM 1220. Today's News. Yesterday's Hits.
