Agape Walk In Clinic

Carefor has a free nursing clinic from 11am to 3pm at the Agape Centre, 40 5th Street West, Friday March 19. A registered nurse will be available to give general health counselling, check blood pressures, screen for diabetes and cholesterol and offer information on pregnancy and baby care, and also to make referrals to other community agencies or programs if desired. The Knights of Columbus Community breakfast takes place in Williamstown at St Mary's Centre on Sunday March 21 from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, fruit, ham, tea, coffe and toast. Adults $6, children under 12 $3.

4th annual Bishop Cup

The 4th annual Bishop Cup will be held on Wednesday March 24th at 6pm at the Si Miller arena. Admission is a twonie or two non-perishable food items for St. Vincent De Paul. Come watch St. Joe's and Holy Trinity compete for Cornwall Catholic Secondary School hockey bragging rights.

The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce Spring Home & Leisure Show takes place at the Cornwall Civic Complex Friday March 26 from 4 – 9pm, Saturday March 27 from 10am to 8pm and Sunday March 28 from 10am to 4pm. Fundraiser for Haiti Relief

Child Haven International and MEL Productions host a fundraising evening for Haiti 7pm March 27 at the General Vanier Intermediate School Auditorium, 1500 Cumberland Street , with dance and song by artists from Montreal, Gatineau, Cornwall and the surrounding area. Admission is $20 per person. Profits will go to the CECI – Centre d’études et de coopération internationale / Centre for International Studies and Cooperation, and to the Canadian Red Cross. SPCA Fundraiser

Fundraiser for the SPCA will be held on Saturday, March 27th at the Knights of Columbus from 6pm to 1am. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets include admission, meal and live music by Cornwall's "System's Edge!". Supper is from 6 to 8pm and includes wings+fries or spaghetti (your choice) and the music will be from 8pm to 1am. There will be door prizes, 50/50 draw, and a silent auction. Donations of pet food and Canadian Tire money will be gladly accepted at the door. The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride by Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation

The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride by Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation (coasttocoastagainstcancer.org), is a volunteer-based organization that ensures 100% of individual donations raised through their events go directly to the childhood cancer charities they support.
