August 31The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride by Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride by Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation (coasttocoastagainstcancer.org), is a volunteer-based organization that ensures 100% of individual donations raised through their events go directly to the childhood cancer charities they support. Martin Lacelle, a teacher at La Citadelle High School, will join the ride September 9th to 23rd 2010, riding with 42 other cyclists across Canada from Vancouver to Halifax , joined by thousands of local cyclists and families in cities and towns, where community events and local rides will be taking place. Although cancer is the leading cause of non-accidental deaths in children in Canada, childhood cancer is greatly underfunded. 100 % of all donations raised are directed towards childhood cancer programs. You can make an instant and secure online donation by going to martinlacelle.snkcr.com , once there, click on , then and follow the instructions. |
